If the crane wire rope used in corrosion environment, it is suggested that use galvanized wire rope which can choose smooth crane wire rope, if corrosion is limited when the moisture can penetrate into wire and cable, damage, plastic wire rope can be considered.All in the production and use of wire rope should be thorough and smooth, not just for corrosion protection, but also lubrication of wire rope in bending in order to reduce the wear and tear of the external and internal
Where the wire rope elongation are considered ,it is recommended to use high metal filling coefficient of steel wire rope, best filled plastic, this will prevent the wire rope diameter reduction in weight, prevent the wire rope is drawn.

Whether crane wire rope scrap is mainly based on the degree of broken wire rope and other conditions:
1. 6. When the wire rope diameter relative to the nominal diameter decreased 7% or more, even if not found broken wire, the wire rope should be scrapped.
7. Hemp core the leakage should be scrapped.
8. Wire rope has obvious corrosion should be scrapped.
9. The local outer wire elongation in cage state should be scrapped
