A few days ago, DQCRANE received one client’s feedbacks regarding the noise during crane operation. This crane is installed in the year 2013, till now, it has been 3 years.Before DQCRANE’s solution, there are some tips for crane maintenance.
Now DQCRANE provide traditional Chinese design cranes and European style design cranes, knowing the difference between them will help much.
If it is a new building or workshop with steel structure, Europe style design will save much steel structures, because it is with light weight, compact structure, good-looking, but the crane itself with higher manufacturing cost.
Chinese design crane need to check and do small maintenance(lubrication, fastening screws, correction etc.) every three months, and do exchange the spare parts( brake pad, rope guide etc.) every 6 months, do exchange main parts(motors, wheels etc.) every one year; while European style crane need less maintenance and parts exchanging. Moreover, Chinese design crane has higher noise than Europe style, one year later, the advantages of Europe crane are obvious; therefore, European style crane is very important for high standard workshop and continuous production.
Although Chinese design crane has many disadvantages, it is still the prior option for steel plant and shipyards or some heavy industries. Chinese design crane can meet the demands of heavy working condition, the working class can reach A8. For steel plant, they need the crane moving all day and night to improve the production and meet the market demands for steel products; while European crane can’t meet this purpose.
Considering three years operation of crane, DQCRANE advise client to exchange some main spare parts and share some tips for maintenance during operation. And after knowing the detailed working condition, DQCRANE suggest to use Europe design crane for their second order.
Actually, no matter Chinese design crane or European style crane, the option is depending on your working condition. For heavy industries, Chinese design cranes are their prior option, the steel structure cost is higher, but the crane itself manufacturing cost is lower.The most important is that it has much higher stability and safety.For general industries, European style crane is a better choice, especially at the special period, such as the steel material price increasing rapidly, Europe style crane can not only save much cost at the steel structure, but also the manufacturing cost is lower much more comparing the heavy Chinese design crane.
